Alsherra are the main developers involved with The Hydrogen Office project.

Jim Keiller, Director of Alsherra, had the following comments on the project.

What the Hydrogen Office means to you?

"On a personal basis ,The Hydrogen Office has increased my knowledge on not only renewables but the whole ethos of ‘eco’ and its soon to be open access as a learning centre for all will further this public awareness."

What attracted you to work with the project?

"The emerging focus on creating an ‘Energy’ related business environment around the old and redundant ‘conventional power’ sites in Methil and attracting the Hydrogen Office to start the hub was an important driver in our involvement."

Why do you think the project is important?

"Since we got involved with the Hydrogen Office the future supply of energy and more importantly renewable energy has grown from a mere soundbite to what is now in these financially turbulent times- an everyday thought process. Hydrogen energy and more importantly hydrogen green energy is emerging as a strong contender as the appropriate and viable means of providing the power of the future."
